Culaset was developed in October 2004 by Culamix providing improvements over conventional Nucleating agents based on Nano Composite Technology. Primarily developed as a Nucleated Colourant Masterbatch it is also available as a Natural Masterbatch. Initially available only as a supplement for Polypropylene applications, future grades may be developed suitable for the Nylon & PET markets.

Cycle Time reduction - Culaset provides significant cycle time reductions in both Injection & Extrusion processes. This allows increased productivity which ultimately lowers manufacturing costs.

Increased Physical Properties - Culaset can deliver increases in the entire range of Physical properties required by diverse applications in all types of PP. These include HDT, Flexural Modulas, Tensile Strength, Notched Izod (Impacts) & Dimensional Stability.

Uniform Shrinkage & low Warpage - Achieving uniform shrinkage in PP is a complicated task. Traditionally moulders are required to slow down their process to avoid Warpage issues. Culaset can provide uniform Shrinkage and low Warpage.

Thinner parts means more parts - In some applications moulders are able to down gauge parts upto 15%. Culaset provides an improvement in Stiffness and Rigidity.

Excellent dispersion properties achieved providing better masterbatch coverage.

Provides better mixing - particularly assisting equipment with poor mixing capabilities.
